How to get involved with our research

We want to make technologies for patients with patients!

Whether you are a community member, patient, student, or someone interested in contributing to our research for women’s health, we provide ways for everyone to be involved with our research efforts.

We invite all people with lived experiences to participate!

A PWLE is a person with direct experience of a health condition or interactions with the health care system. They may be a current or former patient, a family member, or a care partner. A person with lived experience is an expert by experience. UHN PiPer Toolkit

We want to know what you think?

Only have a few minutes? We have opportunities below to fill out our anonymous surveys to understand what your experience or thoughts are about at-home medical tests. No expertise or previous knowledge required! Your input is critical to driving our research forward to real-world solutions.

Project: redefining menstrual blood as a diagnostic fluid

Our goal is to innovate new methods in collecting and analyzing menstrual blood for women’s health!

We are seeking feedback to help improve the clarity and usability of menstrual blood self-sampling protocols. To share the survey across the UTM community, we would like to ask you to share a link to our survey and/or post our flyer on your social media page(s).

We invite you to participate in a 7-minute, anonymous survey to better understand how people interpret written instructions—no physical sample collection is required. By sharing their feedback, their input will help us refine protocol materials to ensure they are clear, accessible, and easy to follow. Participation is entirely voluntary, and responses will remain anonymous.
